Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (apex bank) is a specialized institution and distribution of long-term, medium and short-term agricultural loans is made available to farmers and other rural sections for financing as per their requirement through district banks and primary agricultural credit cooperative societies in the state with the help of NABARD.

Madhya Pradesh Co-operative Banks are the institutions that have been set up by the Government of Madhya Pradesh for cooperative banking purpose. The bank started its business with a capital of just Rs 5.00 lakh, the main objective of which was to finance agricultural loans.
