What is the selection process of CISF and what documents are required?
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released the CISF Constable new notification for a total number of 787 vacancies. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format from 21 November 2022 to 20 December 2022.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of physical test, trade test and written examination.
After this, the eligibility of the candidate will be checked in the documentation process and medical examination.
The documents of the candidates who proudly qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be carefully scrutinized. Candidates who fail to produce original testimonials/certificates will be removed from the recruitment process by giving rejection slips by the presiding officer and no candidate will be allowed provisionally. The documents required include the following:
Educational certificate. (12th class certificate)
Date of Birth (DOB) certificate. (Matriculation or 10th pass certificate).
Domicile certificates will have been issued by the competent revenue authorities so that they can certify their domestic status.
Certificates of SC/ST, OBC and ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTIONS, if applicable. The caste certificate should be in a certain prescribed manner as given in the CISF Constable 2022 official notification otherwise it will not be accepted.
Caste certificates of candidates will be considered only if they have been issued from the domicile state of the candidate, i.e. both certificates (caste and domicile) should be issued from the same state.
Candidates belonging to Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir as well as Leh and Ladakh regions of Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu and Kashmir) who request for relaxation in height and chest measurement should submit the certificate in some prescribed format as per official notice
In case of ex-servicemen, discharge certificate is required as per rules.
No Objection Certificate will not be required in case of those serving in Government/Semi-Government jobs. department from the head of his office.
In case of children who are serving CISF personnel, who are applying from a State other than their home State, certificates are to be produced by them.
Four recent passport size photographs of the candidates are required.
Identity certificate is required in case of WPR (West Pakistani refugees) residing in the State of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
Domicile Certificate for all persons residing normally in the State of Jammu and Kashmir from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 in case of age relaxation.
The applicant should have identity proof such as driving license, voter card, Aadhaar card, identity card issued by the university/college, income tax/PAN card in original which he/she must have mentioned in his application form.
The identity of the candidates will be checked by a board of officers through PET/PST/documentation as well as identity cards submitted by the candidate at the time of trade test, written test and medical examination. Biometric data (fingerprint) will be captured in the first phase of recruitment (height test) for the purpose of verification. It will be used in further stages of recruitment.
