Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) was established by the Haryana Government to recruit Group C and D services. The Commission was established with the goal of recruiting capable, competent, and highly skilled individuals through various examinations for various positions.
The Commission is committed to developing selection and recruitment procedures that adhere to global testing standards and guarantee the selection of the most competent, capable, and skilled individuals for user departments through all fair means.
Constitution
It is composed of five members, including the Chairman, who are appointed by the Haryana Government on the recommendation of a collegium comprised of a Minister of Cabinet Rank, the Chief Secretary to the Government of Haryana, Legal Remembrance, and the Secretary to the Government of Haryana, Law and Legislative Department. When the Chairman/Member reaches the ages of 68 and 65, respectively, he or she will no longer be Chairman or Member of the Commission.
Functions
The Commission has the authority to select candidates for appointments in the Group-‘C’ category for various departments of the Government of Haryana with an initial pay of Rs.5,200 + Grade pay per mention or more but less than Rs.9,300/- + Grade pay per month under municipality, municipal corporation, town improvement, trust, Zila Parishad or Panchayat Samiti and under State Govt., Local Bodies or Cooperative Institutions, except appointments to the executive.
Initial appointment of non-gazette Group – ‘C’ posts under the State Govt., with the exception of officers and employees of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, as provided in Article 229 of the Indian Constitution.
Promotions and transfers from one service or post to another for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ employees, as well as disciplinary matters for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ employees.
The State Government’s recruitment methods and principles must be followed when filling Group-‘C’ and Group-‘D’ positions.

Special Requirements
The requirement for the essential qualification does not entitle a candidate to an interview. The Commission may shortlist candidates for interviews through a written examination or on the basis of a rationale criterion that the Commission will establish. The Commission’s decision in all matters relating to application acceptance or rejection, eligibility/suitability of candidates, mode of, and criteria for selection, etc. will be final and binding on the candidates. In this regard, no inquiries or correspondence will be entertained.
Instructions for Use
A candidate, whether from the general category or one of the reserved categories (SC, BC, ESM/DESM), can only apply for one post. The application form should be sent only through Registered Post to the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Bays No. 67-70, Sector-2, Panchkula PIN-134151. All of the application form’s columns must be completed.
The candidate should provide information on all examinations passed since Matriculation or its equivalent, including total and percentage of marks obtained and maximum marks in each. Candidates are advised to attach only a photocopy of their essential qualifications.
