Madras High Court Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Candidates will be chosen for various positions such as Office Assistant, Examiner, Reader, Junior Bailiff/ Process Server, Process Writer, Xerox Operator, Driver, Copyist Attender, and others based on their performance on the Common Written Examination, Skill Test, and Viva-voce exam. The final applicants will be chosen based on the total scores they received in the written examination, skill test, and viva voce.
- Common Written Exam: To choose candidates for the next round of the selection process, the skill test, the Madras High Court will hold a written exam. When selecting candidates for the skill exam, the combined marks from Parts A and B will be taken into account.
- Skill Test (Required for Post): Candidates will be called for a skill test based on the written exam merit list in a 1:5 ratio. This test will assess candidates’ knowledge of housekeeping, hygiene, maintaining household items, and other household duties like food production, cooking, cleaning, serving food and beverages, gardening, water conservation, and the fundamentals of protecting the office and home. The Judicial Recruitment Cell, High Court, Madras, shall determine the location of the skill exam, which may be held in Chennai or somewhere else.
- Viva-voce: Candidates will be called for the viva-voce test in a ratio of one to three, depending on their merit as determined by their scores in the Common Written Examination and Skill Test.
