MH SET 2024 Application Fee
When submitting their application, candidates must pay the appropriate MH SET Examination fee based on their category. Prior to the last registration date, candidates must pay their application fee. The application forms of candidates will not be accepted if the application fee is not paid. Only credit or debit cards will be accepted for payment of the application fee through online banking. MH SET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply online for the 39th MH State Eligibility Test, candidates are advised to review the MH SET Notification PDF. The only applicants who can apply online for the MH SET Examination are those who meet the requirements for eligibility, which include the age restriction and educational background. The following conditions apply to MH SET eligibility:
MH SET Educational Qualification
- The candidates must have finished their Master’s or Postgraduate degree in SET, which has been approved by the U.G.C.
- Applicants from the general category must have passed the Master’s or equivalent exam with a minimum of 55% of the possible points (no padding or rounding off).
- Candidates from the OBC, SBC, DT(VJ), NT, and SC/ST, as well as those from non-creamy layers, PWDs, and orphans, must

MH SET Notification 2024 Selection Process
An objective written test will be held by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) in order to select qualified applicants for assistant professor positions. Candidates shall be considered for Assistant Professor positions only if their combined scores on two papers are equal to or higher than the qualifying cutoff percentage of aggregate marks. Candidates must have taken both of the exams. Those in the general category must have received at least 40% of the possible points, while those in the reserved category must have received at least 35% of the possible points.
MH SET 2024 Exam Pattern
- The MH SET will take place in Objective Mode offline.
- The Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) will consist of two papers.
- There will only be objective-style questions in both papers.
- Paper 1 will comprise an assessment of the candidate’s general awareness, comprehension, divergent thinking, and reasoning skills. Each question in Paper 1 will be worth two marks.
- One hundred (100) mandatory objective-style questions from the candidate’s chosen subject will make up Paper 2. Every question will be worth two points.
