Candidates falling under categories 2, 3, and 4 must possess an eligibility certificate issued by the Indian government in their favor. Subjects of Nepal or Bhutan; Tibetan Refugees who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling there permanently; and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) who have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries (Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi).
SBI Clerk 2023 Educational Qualification (By December 31, 2023)
- (a) The individual has to have an authorized degree from an accredited university in any field.
- (b) Applicants who possess an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate ought to confirm the IDD passing date. Individuals who are in their last year or semester of graduation are also eligible to apply provisionally, but if they are chosen on a provisional basis, they will need to provide documentation of their passing the graduation exam.
- (c) Matriculate ex-servicemen who served in the Union’s armed forces for at least 15 years and who have earned the Indian Army Special credential of Education or a comparable credential in the Navy or Air Force are also qualified for the position.
