RBI Assistant 2023 Selection Process

The Prelims, Mains, and Language Proficiency Test are the three phases of the RBI Selection Process. The RBI Assistant Mains and Prelims exams have a 0.25-mark negative marking system. A candidate must pass the language proficiency test, the main exam, and the preliminary exam in order to be selected for an RBI Assistant position. RBI Assistant Prelim Exam Pattern

The preliminary examination, which has three sections—English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning—is the first step towards becoming an RBI Assistant in 2023.
There is going to be a 0.25 mark deduction. The RBI Assistant Prelims Exam lasts one hour (sixty minutes), broken down into sectional timings of twenty minutes each. The distribution of marks is shown in the table below.

The RBI Assistant Mains Exam is required of the applicants who made it through the preliminary round. English, Quantitative, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness were the five sections. There is going to be a 0.25 mark deduction. RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test

There will be a language proficiency test (LPT) for the students who were tentatively shortlisted from the main online examination. The official or local language of the state in question will be used to administer the language competency exam, as explained below. Applicants who are not fluent in the official or local language will not be allowed to proceed further in the screening process.

 

RBI Assistant Salary

An RBI Assistants take-home pay would be approximately Rs 47,849/-per month, including HRA. In addition to pay, the employee will also be eligible for DA, expense reimbursement, a dispensary, loans, advances, and concessional interest rates along with gratuity perks. The monthly Basic Pay is Rs 20,700. An RBI Assistant makes a gross pay of Rs. 47,849/-per month.

Q.1 In 2023, will there be an RBI Assistant exam?

Ans. The official RBI Assistant 2023 notification states that the main exam will now take place on December 31, 2023, instead of December 2, 2023, and that the preliminary exam for RBI Assistant 2023 will now take place on November 18 and 19, 2023, instead of October 21 and 23.

Q.2 Why is the RBI cutoff so high?

Ans. Because the RBI Assistant exam does not need an interview, competition is fierce. The cut off is set at a maximum in order to create a shortlist of candidates.
